Project: Archival Documentation Strategy

Completed for LIS 640: Advanced Archives: Archival Appraisal and Description, this project asked students to research and design an archival collecting project or documentation strategy on a topic or collection of our choosing. I chose to create a documatetion strategy targeting videogame change information. The theorhetical collection was concerned with collecting game developer changelogs, such as dynamic or developer-to-community version information and other game change/update information. The essay includes a discussusion of rationale, background and bibliography, discussion of related collections (e.g., video game ephemera collections, fan data capture projects), recomendations and methods discussion for capturing "change information," and personal reflection on the project process.

This page contains: the video presentation I completed for the project (7:16) and a PDF embed of the project essay.
